The New OLD Workout

So I've decided that the newest trend in upper body - specifically shoulder and arm - workout system should be hoeing in clay along with washing your gravel road dusted car. Now, in order to take full advantage of this workout regimen, you'll have to rent a garden plot that's main access road is cut off so you need to take a 5 mile detour on gravel roads to get there. Then, once you are there, you need to hoe and hoe and bend and kill Colorado Potato Beetles and hoe and hoe some more because you don't want to make the extra long trip for another week. Then wash your vehicle once you get home so you can see out of the windows for next time! This will do wonders for you arms and shoulders! Anyone interested in participating in this workout can give me a call and I think I can set you up.

What have we been eating?

Monday: Cochinita Pibil, Black Beans & Chili Lime Corn
Tuesday: Cobb Salads (I have SO much romaine lettuce now from the garden! yea!)
Wednesday: Pesto Chicken, Roasted Parmesan Potatoes, & a Green Salad
Thursday: Chicken Fried Steak, Herbed Brown Rice, & Grilled Zucchini
Friday: ???? Mike's going to be at a going away party so we'll see
Saturday: Joyce's Vietnamese Chicken Meatballs, Green Salad w/ Sesame Ginger Dressing

Hey, I know a similiar exercise. You must have a large maple tree with an extensive root system that grows through a shade garden. Work up the soil with shovel- slicing through roots as you dig. Then on your hands and knees pull on these roots with all your might until they snap and you are showered in dirt. Gardening- good for your mind, body and soul.
